About Me
Two Worlds, One Person
I am Morteza Pourmirzai, a wildlife conservation practitioner and founder of Sarvin Wildlife Conservation Institute. My main focus is on the protection of threatened species—particularly the Asiatic cheetah—as well as the management and restoration of natural habitats. Throughout my years of activity, I have strived to apply an approach grounded in ethics, science, community engagement, and effective policymaking in conservation projects. Before founding Sarvin, I served as CEO of the Iranian Cheetah Society, where I took part in a range of educational, research, field, and cross-sector initiatives. My experience is not limited to the field; alongside my conservation work, I also engage in developing digital infrastructure, web design, server management, and the optimization of online systems.
I believe effective conservation of nature depends on the integration of knowledge, technology, and human-ethical collaboration—and I strive to bring these three together in everything I do.
